The auto menace!!!!

Just a few incidents as continuation to my last post.

There's this friend of mine, priyanka, yeah the one in the profile photograf.
She one great gal, one sweeet pal and lost about most of the things.
In our office gang she was the joey of the gang, everything will strike her some 15 minutes later and till that time she will bug everyone bout "what iteez?".
Anyways the blog is not about priyu but wat happend with her.
A couple of her incidences with the auto drivers of bangalore which are more hilarious then serious.
There used to be a line of autos standing right in front of our office, like an army standing ready for anyone who needs to get anywhere in the city.
But when you start asking whether they will come to a certain place (any place for that matter) they will outrightly reject you (yeah reject coz thats wat priyu used to say "itna tayyar hoke ghar se nikalo aur ye log aise reject maarte hai na") and on top of it they will give you such a look as if the place you live is in Mars.

Anyways on one of her traumatic days( she had a long call with our US client) she got out of the office and started asking the auto drivers if they would be kind enough to come to indiranagar(dat's whr she used to live). Be all she got was REJECTION.
By the time she got to the last auto she was totally frustrated and when the autodriver demaded double the money that she usually pays she burst out "Bhaiyya if you wnated to earn money so fast you should have studied".
"Is it our fault that you did not study or your parents did not ask you to study. You just wanna take dat revenge from us by asking us to pay you more money then you deserve".
She went on and on.
The auto driver got so scared and just took out his auto from the auto line and ran for his life.
He never even would have dreamt of such a thing in return of just asking double meter.

One more of such incidences were when the autodriver refused to drop priyu and debo(her roomie) at the place they asked for(dats our office but ofcource).
So she just blurted " Bhaiyya my dad is a doctor, and he never fails to perform his duty coz he feels everyone shud perform there duty well.But today you are refusing to perform your duty. Just wait for the day when you or your kids will need a doctor and he won't perform his duty, then you will seee how it feels".

Man!!! some high funda she gave to the autowala and he finally agreed to drop them wherever she wanted to go.
I guess he would have dropped her to any place in India or abroad or anywhere else :).

Though these stories sound hilarious but it just shows how much people can be pushed around by these guys.

One of the auto driver lost his life because of such thing. The auto driver asked for high fare when the distance was miniscule. The guy refused to pay so much and waited for another auto.
So did the autodriver coz he knw that there wnt be many autos plying on that road and he
can ask for whatever he wishes.
Finally that guy gave up and told this auto driver that fine take the money you asked for but this autowala said no now the fare would be higher then that and asked for another insane amount.
The guy got so pissed he simply murdered the autowala.
well the people are actually losing there patience 'coz after slogging for the whole day in office the last thing that you wish for is a tussle with the autowala or anyone for that.

Apart from this if you tell the autowalla that you will go to the police they welcome the proposal with open arms 'coz they know nothing would happen to them there also.
One of my friend once took an auto which was 15 rupees fast so he argued with him and they ended up in police station, where the police men took the autowalla's side and scolded my friend
That day he swore that he will never to go back to police station atleast regarding an auto issue.

So this has no solution just some go with the flow.
